Mr. Explorer

The statement that best describes John these days is "ready to see the world!" He is exploring everywhere he can manage to get to and hardly stops to take a breath. He has even begun walking with the assistance of his toys that roll and will walk pushing it all over a room. He hasn't gotten brave enough yet to try walking on his own, but it's probably right around the corner. We'll post a picture and video of that soon.

Exploring the Bathtub Faucet

Played so hard he got hot and had to take his shirt off. Then, he decided to pause and watch the Praise Baby video for a few minutes. This one cracks us up because it looks like he's at soccer practice and just took a knee to listen to the coach.

The Biggest Smile

This is an older picture I ran across recently. I just had to post it. It looks like John's face would hurt he's smiling SO hard!

John Visits the Zoo for the First Time

John made his first two trips to the Cameron Park Zoo this week. He really enjoyed it. He liked any animals that were big or moving. He also liked all the children . . . maybe more than the animals!

John watches intently as the spider monkeys run and play.
John really enjoyed the fish and wanted to reach out and grab them.

The African animals like the elephant and giraffe were really
active both visits, and John enjoyed seeing them so close.





John even got to visit some animals from North America and go inside an Indian tepee.

Standing Up Everywhere!

John continues to stand up everywhere he can and just gets bolder and bolder. He's even begun standing up with only one hand or no hands.

Coffee tables work . . .

and so do back doors.

Working With Daddy on His Laptop

John loves computers, televisions, cell phones . . . basically anything electronic and bright. Here he is watching Daddy work on his laptop and then watching some funny videos with Daddy.

Riding the Carousel

Uncle Tugg video taped this with his cell phone, and it was too cute not to share. While they were at the mall in Georgia, John kept staring at the carousel so they decided to see if he would like riding. Right when the bell sounds and it gets ready to start, he just waves at everyone like he knows that's what he's supposed to do.

Hanging Out in Georgia with the Girls

John appears to be doing just fine in Georgia with the girls and having a great time! Here are some pictures from the trip so far.
